Role: Software Engineering Intern in Seattle
Result: Rejected
Timeline: Team screen October 13, back-to-back technical rounds October 19, and rejection update October 27, 2020.
The screen used two row-selection functions: choose a row by one minimum column, then choose by an ordered list of columns. The source did not preserve the row schema, missing-value rule, or ties.
Practice: Toy Database — Select a Row by Ordered Keys.
The later rounds generated invoice outputs and replayed HTTP requests described by JSON. The candidate recommended being comfortable with JSON libraries.
Invoice schedules, request schemas, endpoints, returned-ID handling, and test expectations were not shared.
