Stripe Off-Campus SWE Internship OA and Live Screen

Role: Off-Campus Summer Software Engineering Intern
Result: Rejected after the live screen
Timing: The source showed only a relative publication age. November 2024 is approximate.

The candidate passed seven of ten online-assessment tests and received a live-screen invitation about a week later.

The one-hour screen used a practical array-and-string problem. The candidate had to write the functions, input handling, and tests from scratch in C++.

They found an approach but did not finish the implementation before time ran out. The exact business problem and I/O contract were not shared.
