Stripe Internship Missing-Positive and Server-Allocation Screen

Result: Received an onsite invitation but did not attend

The screen began with the first missing positive integer:

• [2, 1, 2, 4] returned 3.
• [2, 5, 6] returned 1.

The follow-up used that helper for server management.

• allocate(type) reserved the smallest available positive number for that server type and returned the type plus number.
• deallocate(type, number) released that number only for the matching type.

The candidate ran the code and wrote tests. Bounds, invalid releases, initial state, and exact result formatting were not shared.
