Role: Software Engineering Intern
Result: Not disclosed
Timing: November 12, 2019
The screen used two row-selection tasks.
- Return a row with the minimum value for one key. Missing columns counted as zero, and any tied row was acceptable.
- Compare rows using an ordered list of columns, moving to the next column when values tied.
The report did not preserve bounds, empty-input behavior, or the final return shape.
The candidate prepared with Java and unit tests and explained the approach while coding. The earlier OA task was not shared.
Practice: Toy Database — Select a Row by Ordered Keys.
