Stripe Internship Loan OA and Server-Removal Screen

Result: Passed the phone screen; did not complete the scheduled final interview
Timeline: OA on September 6 and phone screen on September 17, 2021.

The online assessment modeled loan repayment. Direct payments and a percentage withheld from later transactions paid down the loan. The exact commands, percentages, and repayment order were not shared.

The screen used three server-removal tasks:

1. Score a shutdown at a given time.
2. Find the best shutdown time.
3. Extract valid logs from a larger string and find the best time for each.

The candidate fixed a small bug, passed the tests, and moved forward.

A final interview was scheduled but not taken after a work-authorization issue affected the US position.
