Stripe Internship Bank Commands and Closing-Hours Screen

Online assessment

The assessment processed bank commands. Initialization created users and linked banks. Transactions had to run in timestamp order, while query results returned in the original query order.

POST transfers could not make the sender negative. Bank deposits and withdrawals required an existing bank link. GET returned a user's balance at a requested time.

Team screen

The screen used the closing-hours penalty family. It scored a proposed shutdown time, found the best time, and later extracted valid BEGIN/END log sections before reusing the same calculation.

The candidate wrote tests first, explained the reasoning aloud, and received syntax help. One completed phase and a possible fourth phase were not fully disclosed.
