Stripe
Hey all,
A friend of mine has a Stripe new grad team screen coming up. It's LeetCode-style DSA, and I'm trying to help them prep. If you've done this recently, I'd love to hear how it went. A few things I'm curious about: What was the format (length, number of problems, live coding vs. shared editor)? Roughly what difficulty were the problems? Which topics came up most (arrays/strings, hashmaps, graphs, DP, etc.)? Did you have to run and test your code, or was explaining the approach enough? Were there follow-ups or optimization questions after your first solution? Anything you wish you'd prepped more? How long did it take to hear back? Thanks in advance!

2ohhhh myyyy godddd!! the first question ever asked on Experience!!! 😭😭😭 i took a screenshot. this is going to stay with me until the day i die. obscurity, you’re officially unforgettable to me now 😭 your cyber fren Jane will get your friend answers to those questions
From what I’ve seen, the team screen is a 60-minute video call with one engineer. There’s usually a short introduction, followed by about 40–45 minutes of live coding in a shared online editor, then a few minutes for questions. It’s generally one practical problem with multiple parts or follow-ups, rather than several unrelated LeetCode questions. You’re expected to write runnable code, test it, explain your thinking, and handle new requirements as they’re introduced. The exact format can vary, though, so the interview invitation or recruiter’s guidance should be the source of truth.
