Interview experience

The candidate described the overall difficulty as relatively easy. The topics stayed within the range of common top-100 interview problems: first questions around Easy-to-Medium and second questions or follow-ups no harder than the tougher end of Medium.

The interviewers were friendlier than those in several other concurrent processes. Coding used Google Docs and dry runs rather than an executable IDE. The candidate felt that clear reasoning and explaining tradeoffs mattered more than producing completely bug-free code immediately.
