🦭 The clearest 2025–2026 campus pattern is no longer just “90 MCQs, then two DSA questions.” Recent ASE, AASE, AAE, and AEH candidates repeatedly describe behavioral questions, cognitive games, technical MCQs, and a three-part coding assessment covering DSA, SQL, and frontend work.

The short version
The clearest current India campus loop was:
- Behavioral or psychometric assessment
- Gamified cognitive assessment
- Technical MCQs
- Coding assessment
- Communication assessment
- Combined technical, managerial, and HR interview
One particularly detailed 2026-campus report described this same-day battery:

Across the strongest reports, the coding assessment most often contained:
- One DSA or backend problem, commonly involving arrays, strings, sliding windows, or direct implementation
- One SQL task, frequently requiring joins across two or three supplied tables
- One frontend task, usually small edits to supplied HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
The practical preparation pattern is broader than LeetCode alone:
Games + CS Fundamentals + DSA + SQL + HTML/CSS/JavaScript + Communication + Resume Depth
Accenture new-grad OA and interview experiences
01. Advance ASE: Decode Ways, a Three-Table SQL Query, and a DOM Task
Assessment date: October 9, 2025
Candidate: Fresher, 2026 campus hiring
Route: On campus
Outcome: offered
This was the most complete timing-and-question report in the current set.
Behavioral and cognitive assessment
The behavioral section contained 54 personality and workplace-response questions in 20 minutes. The next 20 minutes covered three game types:
- Path finding
- Fast arithmetic
- Maze or box navigation
Technical assessment
There were 45 MCQs in 45 minutes. The remembered topics included Microsoft Office, pseudocode, computer networks, security, and cloud fundamentals.
Coding assessment
The candidate received three tasks in 60 minutes:
- DSA: a Decode Ways dynamic-programming problem.
- SQL: retrieve product information from a supplied three-table schema using a transit-hub condition.
- Frontend: modify existing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript by adding UI elements, adjusting layout, wiring events, and displaying the requested message.
The later communication assessment included reading, repetition, grammar, conversation comprehension, error spotting, storytelling, and professional email writing. The final interview lasted about 30 minutes and focused on projects, internship work, relocation, adaptability, and career goals.
02. AASE Offer: Leader Element, Three-Table Join, and a Small UI Edit
Assessment date: November 28, 2025
Report date: July 7, 2026
Candidate: 2026-batch fresher
Route: On campus
Outcome: Selected; LOI received January 1, 2026
The first three knockout stages happened on the same day.
The candidate described three short cognitive games testing attention, memory, logic, and speed. The technical MCQs covered DSA, DBMS, cloud, networks, Microsoft Office, and pseudocode.
The coding round again had three different domains:

DSA: find a leader element whose elements to the right are all smaller. The report used the singular, while the linked practice version returns all strict leaders.
(Note: The original report is ambiguous: it asks for a single “largest” element, but also identifies the task as a leader-element problem, which normally asks for all qualifying elements. Therefore, the linked practice problem follows the standard all-leaders interpretation.) -
SQL: join three tables to produce the requested result.

Frontend: change a supplied page’s colors and button behavior.
The surprising part was the outcome: the candidate reported solving only the DSA task and leaving SQL and frontend untouched, yet still progressed and ultimately received the AASE offer.
That is strong evidence against any universal rule such as “2/3 is required” or “AASE always requires 3/3.”
03. Advanced Application Engineering Analyst FTE: Same Mix, Stricter Shortlisting
Report date: July 13, 2026
Candidate: Fourth-year BTech IT student at NIT Kurukshetra
Route: On campus
Outcome: Selected; candidate later chose another offer
This drive placed a memory game, technical MCQs, and coding into one campus sitting. The memory game was described as non-eliminatory; the technical and coding stages were eliminatory.
The MCQs covered OS, DBMS, DevOps, networking, and some aptitude. Coding contained:
- One SQL problem
- One programming problem, with Java and Python reported as the available languages
- One HTML/CSS/JavaScript task
Unlike the previous candidate, this reporter said only candidates who completed all three coding tasks advanced in this particular drive. About 35 of 300 candidates reached interviews, and 15 received offers.
The question mix agrees. The observed cutoff does not. Selection rules appear to vary by drive and role.
04. AASE 2026 Batch: Dynamic Sliding Window, SQL Joins, and Frontend Work
Assessment date: October 13, 2025
Final result: December 3, 2025
Route: On campus
Outcome: Selected for AASE
This candidate described behavioral questions, game-based cognitive work, technical MCQs, and the same three-domain coding assessment:
- A dynamic sliding-window DSA problem
- A join-based SQL query requiring the candidate to understand the supplied schema
- An HTML/CSS/JavaScript task
The communication round initially failed because of a technical issue. After the candidate contacted the college placement office, Accenture provided another attempt. The final interview also started roughly two hours late because of access issues, but the candidate kept retrying and was eventually interviewed.
The practical lesson is not only technical: save screenshots, keep support contacts available, and escalate genuine platform failures immediately.
05. Three Games, 45 Technical MCQs, and 60 Minutes of Coding
Report cycle: 2026 campus placement
Route: On campus
Progress when posted: Qualified for the communication stage
This candidate remembered three games:
- A path-building task with three objectives
- A bubble-style mental-math task with 25 rapid questions
- A key-and-door navigation task with three objectives
Only after clearing the games did candidates reach 45 technical MCQs in 45 minutes. The final 60-minute coding section contained one DSA problem, one SQL query, and one HTML/CSS/JavaScript task.
A separate 2026-campus account added useful implementation detail: arrays and strings, LEFT JOIN, GROUP BY, conditional SQL, and frontend edits. It reported Java, Python, and C# for the programming task.
06. Multiple Campus Reports Confirmed the New Pattern
Assessment window: September–November 2025
Candidate context: India new-grad/full-time ASE, AASE, and advanced campus candidates
Several independent candidates described the same progression:
- Psychometric or behavioral questions
- Three cognitive games
- Technical MCQs with more pseudocode, networking, security, cloud, and Office than expected
- One DSA/backend problem
- One SQL problem centered on joins
- One small frontend task
- Communication assessment
- Final interview focused heavily on projects and resume depth
The reports agreed strongly on the content but not on the cutoff. Candidates advanced with different levels of coding completion and sometimes received different roles after apparently similar performance.
07. Eight More Full-Time New-Grad Reports Survived the Second Audit
Report window: September–December 2025
Context: India full-time ASE and AASE candidates, both campus and off campus
The second broad public-web pass added eight qualifying current reports after removing mirrors, partial updates, internships, experienced hiring, training assessments, and interview-only questions.
The most detailed added AASE record came from a 2026 graduate whose OA took place on November 29, 2025. The reported sequence was:
- 54 behavioral questions
- Three games covering memory, quick math, and grid/path navigation
- 45 technical MCQs on pseudocode, Office, cloud, networks, and cybersecurity
- One simple array problem
- One SQL task using joins across supplied schemas
- One HTML/CSS/JavaScript task
- Communication assessment and a project/teamwork interview
The candidate was selected for the full-time AASE role. This record independently matched the detailed timing and domain split reported by the October campus candidate.
A separate direct October campus account reported 40 technical MCQs in 45 minutes after psychometric questions and three games. Its coding section again contained a backend DSA task, a frontend implementation, and SQL using joins or a subquery.
One December off-campus ASE graduate described the same broad order: number-ordering work, games, technical MCQs, and then HTML/CSS/JavaScript, SQL, and backend coding. This matters because the three-domain form was not limited to a single college drive.
Two anonymous campus records from December 2025 also reported the three-domain form. Three September–October ASE/AASE records showed a looser variant: aptitude or technical MCQs followed by general coding or easy-to-medium DSA, then communication and a combined interview. Those records support the overall loop but also show that not every requisition exposes identical tasks.
Across the remaining current new-grad accounts, candidates repeatedly described:
- Easy-to-medium array, string, sliding-window, or implementation work in the programming task
- SQL using two or three joins, aliases, filters, and sometimes grouping
- Small HTML/CSS/JavaScript changes to a supplied page
The same reports also reinforced that the assessment did not end with coding. Communication screening and a combined interview followed, with projects, resume details, core CS, relocation, and role flexibility appearing frequently.
Internship, internship-to-PPO, experienced-hire, onboarding, and other-country assessment reports were excluded from this new-grad evidence set.
08. Important Current Exception: Two Coding Questions and a DSA-Heavy Interview
Report date: Around August 2026
Outcome: Selected for AASE
This candidate described aptitude and core-CS questions followed by two easy-to-medium coding problems involving arrays, strings, recursion, and binary search—not the common DSA/SQL/frontend trio. The final interview reportedly contained four DSA questions.
This is why the three-domain format should be described as the strongest current pattern, not a guaranteed template. Accenture can change the form by business unit, campus, role, or requisition.
What to expect in each section
Behavioral or psychometric assessment
Expect dozens of workplace-style statements or situations. Current reports often mention roughly 50–54 items with an agree/disagree scale.
There is no credible public answer key. Read carefully and answer consistently with how you genuinely work.
Cognitive games
The recurring mechanics are:
- Path finding
- Key-and-door navigation
- Fast arithmetic or number ordering
- Memory and attention
Use the practice link included in your invitation. Multiple candidates said the practice mechanics closely resembled the live assessment.
Technical MCQs
The most repeated topics are:
- Pseudocode and output tracing
- Operating systems
- DBMS and SQL concepts
- Computer networks and network security
- Cloud basics
- OOP
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and common applications
- Occasionally DevOps or Agile fundamentals
Do not assume this is a generic aptitude round. Several current candidates specifically warned that the newer section was more technical and contained less traditional quantitative or verbal reasoning.
DSA or backend task
Prioritize arrays, strings, hash maps, counting, two pointers, sliding window, sorting, simple searching, queues, and direct simulation.
Named current examples included leader elements, Decode Ways, and dynamic sliding-window work. The reported level was usually easy to medium, but the interface and language restriction sometimes created more risk than the algorithm.
SQL task
Practice reading an unfamiliar schema quickly. The highest-yield topics are:
INNER JOINandLEFT JOIN- Joining two or three tables
- Aliases and filters
GROUP BYand aggregates- Avoiding duplicate rows after joins
Advanced topics such as triggers and window functions appeared much less often in the detailed current reports.
Frontend task
Expect to edit an existing mini-project rather than build an application from zero. Be ready to:
- Select the correct element
- Change color, spacing, or layout
- Add or modify a button
- Attach a click handler
- Read and update DOM content
- Make a requested message or interaction appear
Practice with separate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files under a short timer.
Communication assessment
Reports mentioned reading aloud, repeating sentences, grammar, listening comprehension, conversation questions, error spotting, storytelling, open speaking prompts, and email writing.
Use a quiet room, stable connection, and reliable microphone. The communication stage was described as eliminatory in some drives and non-eliminatory in others, so do not treat it as a formality.
Final interview
Most current reports were more project-heavy than algorithm-heavy:
- Introduce yourself
- Explain your strongest project end to end
- Defend technology and database choices
- Describe your exact contribution
- Explain a failure, trade-off, or performance improvement
- Discuss internship work, teamwork, relocation, and goals
The August 2026 exception included several DSA questions, so keep coding fundamentals ready even if most candidates emphasize project discussion.
A focused preparation checklist
DSA ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ
- Practice arrays, strings, hash maps, queues, sorting, two pointers, and sliding windows.
- Write complete solutions in Java or Python without autocomplete dependence.
- Test empty input, duplicates, one-element cases, and boundaries.
SQL ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ
- Drill two- and three-table joins from a schema.
- Practice aliases, filters,
GROUP BY, aggregates, and conditional expressions. - Check the cardinality of each join before submitting.
Frontend ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ
- Practice editing an existing page under a timer.
- Review selectors, box model, spacing, colors, buttons, event listeners, and DOM updates.
- Make the smallest changes that satisfy each objective.
Games, MCQs, and communication ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ
- Use the invitation’s practice test for the game mechanics.
- Review pseudocode, OS, DBMS, networks, security, cloud, OOP, and Office basics.
- Practice speaking clearly and writing one concise professional email.
- Prepare a quiet setup and know the support path before starting.
Final interview ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ
- Know every project on your resume deeply.
- Explain architecture, trade-offs, your contribution, a failure, and an improvement.
- Keep basic DSA, SQL, OOP, DBMS, OS, and networking ready.
The country and program materially change the process:
- India campus ASE/AASE/advanced roles: the strongest evidence supports games + technical MCQs + DSA/SQL/frontend.
- United Kingdom Software Engineering Graduate: current guidance describes a proctored coding assessment of approximately one hour, followed by the Discovery Portal, a Task Based Interview, and a Business Strengths Interview.
- Philippines ASE: recent candidates describe a Talegent assessment followed by Mettl, with a different mix of games, English, C++ or technical MCQs, and stack-specific topics.
- United States: current public New Grad SDE-specific OA detail is sparse. One recent Technology Development Program candidate said a recruiter expected an assessment, but the candidate never received one 👉👈
